Spring Bluff R-XV Renovations & Additions

A. Eilers Construction partnered with Spring Bluff R-XV to complete a comprehensive renovation and addition project that transformed multiple areas of the school. The work included a new exterior restroom facility, a walk-in cooler addition, and a remodeled kitchen with epoxy flooring, new equipment, and improved storage. Both the large and small gyms received fresh paint, new flooring, bleachers, basketball goals, and wall pads, along with the installation of an 18’ overhead door to provide direct access from the small gym to the kitchen. A new nurse’s room with a private restroom was created to better serve student needs, while existing interior restrooms were modernized with updated ceilings, paint, plumbing fixtures, and partitions. Every classroom benefited from upgrades including new HVAC systems, paint, flooring, ACT ceilings, lighting, and electrical improvements. To enhance security, six new exterior FRP double doors with electronic card readers were installed. Together, these upgrades modernized the facility, improved functionality and safety, and created an updated, student-centered environment designed to serve the school community for years to come.

This six-month project was strategically scheduled to minimize disruption, with the majority of the work taking place over summer break in just two and a half months. Along the way, the team navigated challenges including necessary abatement across multiple areas of the school. Despite these obstacles, A. Eilers Construction successfully completed the project, and turned the building back over to the district in time for the new school year to begin.
